THE first hearing has taken place for a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Oxford.
Dominic Hughes, 53, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (April 23) accused of one count of sexual assault on a female.
He is accused of touching a woman aged 16 or over without her consent on July 2 last year.

Hughes, of Gregory Avenue, Coventry, appeared in the lower court for his first hearing.
However, the case has now been sent to the higher court, Oxford Crown Court, for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
It is due to take place on May 23 at 10.30am.
It will be then be decided if a trial is due to take place.
